With the advancement of the mankind on the civilization vs time plot, all the things have started getting complicated. So where π used to be 3.14 now it has been computed to 1,241,100,000,000 decimals. That is just an example of many available around us. In the similar pattern of observations, parameters that define human behaviour have also changed. A few have been modified and a few newly introduced. One of the concepts that is right up our noses is Artificial Assholeness. I think no one was ever born a natural asshole but all have been trained into one and that too a unique one.
Nature follows the survival of the fittest and there is no place for assholeness there. One stands on his own. While modern society follows extinction of the weakest and that’s where the assholeness becomes a deciding factor. What else can explain multiplying of humans against everything else decreasing. I see ads everywhere about 1411 tigers and an appeal to save them. Well let’s talk in the arena and then see who is at whose mercy.
Wikipedia defines Asshole (or arsehole in British English and Australian English) as slang for the anus and is usually used as an insult. Now why do I need slang for my own body part, Ok I don’t mean that we should be applying fairness cream over there but why cant we leave it alone. An insult? Imagine your life without an asshole. You just cant do without it or may be one is too afraid of it and hence to malign it, the term started getting used as slang. Of course who wouldn’t be afraid, after all it brings the shit out of us. So I guess coining of the term can be taken as first cited occurrence of assholeness. Incidents of assholeness have been occurring throughout the human growth. And they would have been there before the word was coined. However there are pretty sure logical evidences that assholeness as a concept developed in the lower part of the development of the civilization. Initially when no one knew what or who an asshole was, assholes had only one work to do, the one which serves its purpose of existence. It purified our body and transferred the malicious or impure matter out of our body. However now assholeness is a different ball game altogether. Assholes now get to rule countries, run educational institutions, write religious books and what not. They are running the flow opposite now. Pumping impure matter into a body.
Assholeness has a pattern to it. It is like lysosome, eats on itself . Which other civilization will call opening of sewer a “man”hole and a man “arse”hole.
A bomb is invented that wipes out life in vicinity and its called a “little boy”. Wonder what future the ‘little boys’ of the bombed place met.
I see an ad of Viagra next to a news incident reporting a ravishment of a young girl. A girl? I wonder how many are stopped from going out after reading the report. And companies are spending millions to cure impotency. A society is safer and better with 200 impotents than 1 rapist.
There is a lot to write about assholeness but again that would be another act of assholeness. Also since every one is a unique one, assholeness tend to be different too. A normal act for one occurs as assholeness to other and vice-versa. Assholeness is making its way into our thinking, into the genes almost becoming hereditary and as hereditary as death.
But then one act of assholeness deserves another. May be one day natural assholeness will again take over artificial assholeness and assholes will finally get to do what they are supposed to be doing. Till then marvel at the advancement of the artificiality and ignore the simple fact that how humble an asshole actually was supposed to be.
