the calls un-answered, the light put out
Give me strong shoulders to carry
a dream too beautiful, a nightmare too scary

Give me a song to sing along
with the people i live , for the place i belong
Give me faith to kneel and pray
sometimes when i fail, more when i make hay

Give me strength to endure the walk
the path of light, the journey in dark
Give me a heart to understand
